I’ve been horse crazy for as long as I can remember and I’m excited to share my passion for horsemanship with you and the rest of the Santa Barbara community!

I have 25 years of experience with horses including: formal training in English + Western disciplines, 10+ years of horse ownership/partnership, innumerable trail rides throughout SB, Ventura, & SLO counties, trailering, and pack trips.

In addition I spent several months in my twenties studying Natural Horsemanship principles + methods in Andalusia, Spain with two prominent, regional trainers. It was here that I also gained invaluable experience co-managing a large barn where I was exposed to all the practicalities involved in horse care - equine healthcare & first-aid, nutrition & diet, handling, and facility maintenance.

My most recent career experience has been as an elementary school teacher in SBUSD. I have a Masters in Education and absolutely love working with children.
