What We Do

We offer instruction in Western + Trail-riding.

Our program is structured to create confidence, competence, and connection for the beginner to intermediate rider. We work with all ages.

Our emphasis is on horsemanship - we emphasize partnership with our horses rather than dominance. To create this type of relationship it is essential that we begin with understanding horse psychology so that we can communicate more effectively, have safer interactions, and build a solid foundation for wherever your journey with horses takes you.

Through this process, horses also offer us the opportunity to transform ourselves. The benefits of working with horses include; increased self awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence - not to mention all of the fresh air, sunshine, and physical exercise :)

What To Expect

In addition to learning to ride, our program also provides instruction in essential horsemanship domains that are often left out of traditional curriculum, such as:

  • Equine Psychology

  • Anatomy

  • Grooming + Tack

  • Safety + Handling

  • Groundwork + Training

  • Nutrition

  • First Aid

  • Trail Etiquette
